Microdosing and yoga

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to study at a Tantric and shamanic arts yoga teacher training in Quito, Ecuador. This transformative experience shaped my understanding of yoga and meditation, leading me to develop a personal practice that has successfully helped me heal from anxiety. Now, I am excited to share this practice as a service and experience for others.

Every morning during the training, we would begin at 4:30 am by singing mantras and meditating for an hour. Following our mantra set, we delved into the practice of traditional tantra yoga, also known as Kaula. Kaula yoga embraces every cell of your being, guiding them toward profound relaxation and inner meditation. Its transformative power creates a harmonious balance that permeates your entire being. The sequence is three hours long, with each asana held for at least 20 seconds and repeated three times.

It is important to note that this practice has nothing to do with physical performance. Instead, it focuses on allowing our bodies to be where they are, without forcing stretches. We flow in and out of asanas naturally, embracing the innate wisdom of our bodies.

One of my favorite healing modalities is combining Kaula yoga with micro-dosing. This practice serves as a soothing yet powerful tool for preparing for medicine journeys and facilitates integration afterward. However, it's a deep practice on its own.

Since 2020, I have been sharing my passion as a yoga teacher. Kaula, being a three-hour experience, deserves dedicated time. The practice is about relaxation, not rushing, and the three-hour duration reinforces this intention. It is often said that we accomplish more when we relax rather than force. However, recognizing that dedicating three hours may not be feasible for everyone, I have found that practicing Kaula yoga for an hour and a half, combined with micro-dosing, can still yield powerful results.

When we are in a state of relaxation, our minds open up, allowing for deeper healing and growth. Conversely, stress causes our minds to close down, leaving us feeling stuck. Trauma can solidify within us, making us rigid and inflexible. By incorporating Kaula yoga, micro-dosing, and intuitive touch, I offer a treatment that is gentle and relaxing on the nervous system and am offering this service for free to friends and family.

I am grateful to be able to share this transformative practice and to help facilitate others on their journey. It is my joy to be of service and provide a space for individuals to nurture their well-being.
