mr. crocodile man
Whenever I finish writing a new chapter, I’ll post it on this thread. The project is currently in progress and is intended to be a book of illustrations. I will provide image excerpts as visuals until I find a designer. This is a fictional freestyle story about a character called Mr. Crocodile man.
Mr. CROCODILE MAN
Chapter 1 - The beginning
Many wondered why Mr.Crocodile man moved from the river. He had friends, family, more food anyone could ask for, sparkling fresh bubbly water, and an adventurous life. When he was found up in the mountain living alone in a tent, the animals asked why he left and he said “just do it.” (Nike logo on his face.)
Chapter 2 - Still the beginning
Later that evening, Mr Crocodile man sat down with his friends and cooked them dinner. The first course was string beans, ants, live electric eel and lightning bugs wrapped in bok choy. There was an air of anticipation. All of MCM’s friends were confused and shocked. Mr Squirrel Turrets squeaked “left!” “left?” “you left!” “why you left?”
“I had a dream that I met God last night.” Mr Squirrel Turrets irresistibly blurted out, “was he shiny?” MCM went on to tell his story…
“God appeared as robot and told me he was from the future. He told me he wanted me to leave the amazon and explore the world.” All the animals were wide eyed and attentive. “Did he smell nice?!” asked the jaguar as he licked his lips.
“Suddenly I woke up and the next thing I did was swim to New York. When I got there, I saw a line outside of a tattoo shop. I decided to wait on the cue to see what was so attractive.”
“When I went inside, it amazed people that I was a crocodile. When they asked if I wanted a tattoo, I gave them an unsure look. Some guy in the background yelled out, “just do it!” and everyone cheered.”
“Next thing I know, I walked out of the shop with a black check mark on my face. Supposedly, it means “just do it.”
The squirrel asked why they needed to be reminded to do things. “I don’t know yet” said MCM. “All I know, is that this check is permanent. I’ve been trying to wash it off in the river for hours but it won’t go away. I hid in the mountain because I was ashamed.” Squirrel proclaimed “ We, we, we, we want one!”
